Weber Clarinet Quintet Opus 34

Weber, a composer, and Bärmann, a brilliant clarinettist, were friends. Weber wrote his Clarinet Quintet for Bärmann. Bärmann wrote his 3rd Clarinet Quintet for himself. Both are bravura showpieces for the instrument, demonstrating its expressive capabilities and demanding technical expertise and sensitive musicianship from the soloist.
