The new Titan power amp is the best amp we know how to design and make. It is the culmination of more than 30 years design and manufacturing experience. The Titan is fully balanced from beginning to end. It has both single ended and balanced inputs. Its power is 1kW into 8 Ohms, 2 kW into 4 Ohms and a whisker under 4kW into 2 Ohms. Its technical performance is remarkable. It has less than 0.01% distortion from 10Hz to 50kHz. Even at 100kHz distortion is hovering around 1%. The noise ratio is exemplary. The Titan is one of the quietest power amps ever made.
The sound, however is something else entirely. It is sweet grainless and utterly natural. The strangest thing is that it sounds like a small nimble Class A tube amp until some dynamics turn up. Then it delivers colossal peak power and current with a breathtaking speed precision and authority with no overhang.
The Titan will drive any loudspeaker and because of its practical linearity (low distortion, low output impedance, high current, flat frequency response etc.) will always remain neutral.
