The M8x DAC proudly continues Musical Fidelity’s legacy of pioneering world-class DAC development. Remember, back in the early 90s, Musical Fidelity revolutionized audio performance by being one of the first to develop separate DACs to enhance CD player sound quality.
Today the world is full of digital sources, so-called PC-audio and streamers. They are all developed by software companies with very little experience of the hardware side. This is where Musical Fidelity comes in with its superior technology in converting digital signals to analogue!
The M8x Dac is designed according to the main design principles of Musical Fidelity amplifiers:
- Class A discrete analogue amplification
- No displays to avoid unwanted electromagnetic interference
- No WiFi or Bluetooth for zero RF radiation and jitter-free performance
- Toroidal transformers
- Solid mechanical construction
