Design + Build

The M8 Encore is easy and intuitive to use. It has 500 watts per channel and a huge range of facilities. It features timeless hardware and massive build-quality that Musical Fidelity is known for. The plethora of input and output options are there to make the Encore a mainstay in your music system. You will enjoy the hardware’s excellent performance, facilities and power for decades to come and add modern streaming sources as they develop. Webradio and Spotify Connect are built in to get you started with the basics.

All Encore functions can be accessed via the frontpanel! Being able to browse the Encore with the buttons on the frontpanel (or IR remote) makes the Encore totally unique and perfect for anyone who values traditional high-end build quality and fast access without the need to have your phone or app nearby!

Control via Squeezebox Apps

The Encore can be comfortably controlled via your Squeezebox app of choice on your phone or mobile device.

As you may know I am fanatic about my music, that’s why I started MF. I also adore the equipment: the PCBs, metalwork, the creative combination of all these elements stimulates and appeals to me.

Normally my home system is an eclectic combination of all of MF’s product ranges. It is fun mixing, matching and listening to the result.

Okay, I admit it, I’m a hobbyist!

The M8 Encore has proved a revelation. As with all MF products, I brought one home to test and listen to, and it was fab.

But here’s the thing, it gradually reformatted my mind until all the other stuff has somehow been sidelined. Now, there it sits, on it’s own, a beautiful big guy, and it does everything I need or want. Fast and easily.

And I’m content.
